In 1968 he graduated from the Department of Synthetic Chemistry, School of Engineering, at Kyoto University. Then he entered Sumitomo co. and was assigned to Bahrain, United States and Brazil. After retirement, he has had experience as director at some companies. In 2007 he assumed the role as an adviser for Facio co.
